The Benefits of Being an NATC Member

  • All of our members receive six issues annually of the Tax Magazine at no additional cost.
  • All of our members receive monthly email tax newsletters highlighting changes.
  • All of our members receive access to the member section of our website where additional tax information and contact information for members can be found.
  • All of our members receive listing at their option on our national website for consumers to locate practitioners in their neighborhood.
  • All of our members receive discounts for education both for state affiliate education and for national conferences and telecast classes.
  • From time to time businesses that provide services of benefit to our professional community have been kind enough to offer discounts for our members. We appreciate and depend upon those alliances.

Membership Levels

Regular members:

  • Qualify as tax consultants or tax practitioners, duly authorized under applicable local law to prepare tax returns
  • Agree to abide by the Bylaws and the Code of Ethics
  • Possess a background, experience or interests that demonstrate support for the purpose of the Association
  • Complete thirty hours of continuing education during each twelve month period ending June 30

Associate members are:

  • Persons in any business or profession who are interested in the tax preparation field, and who
  • Agree to abide by the Bylaws and the Code of Ethics

Partner members (requires a copy of your current registration card)

  • Persons who qualify for Regular or Associate membership who agree to comply with the requirements as outlined above, who are current registered members in good standing of a state or national tax association or society which is not otherwise affiliated with NATC. A partnership discount of 50% shall apply to annual dues. (No state development funds shall be set aside from this membership.)
