The IRS Stakeholder Liaison group (formerly Taxpayer Education and Communication - TEC) regularly schedules Phone Forums for which qualifying participants receive CPE credit. What is nice about a Phone Forum is that it is FREE, and you don't even have to leave your office! Topics are timely, and you can easily include others in your office by using your conference phone.

Tax Practitioner Liaison (TPL) Meeting (2 hours CPE)

The Tax Practitioner Liaison (TPL) meeting is usually scheduled for the fourth Friday each month from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. The next meeting will take place on July 25 .

The meeting is held at the Oregon Department of Revenue Building at 955 Center NE, Salem, Oregon, in the "Fish Bowl" room on the first floor near the cafeteria. (Need a map?). OATC Super Star Seminar (12 hours CPE)

It's not too early to mark your calendar for this year's Super Star Seminar on October 29-30..

The topic of Estates and Trusts and Oregon Inheritance & Tax Planning Issues will be covered by presenters Judith Krussow, LTC, EA; and Steven M. Cyr, Attorney. Classes will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.
